We are all aware that setting goals is a critical component of SMB success. How about setting a goal to enjoy what you do. Setting a goal for happiness ought to be a fundamental part of the owner's mindset. Quality of life drastically improves if you enjoy what you do. Too often SMB owners don't get the opportunity to reap the rewards and benefits of all their hard work as business pressures spill into personal and family time. Enjoying the work with genuine passion will create more stimulation and ideas to open up more opportunities.

Make it a goal to enjoy your work.
